Bereavement is mostly associated with death; but it can be seen as any kind of loss; such as the loss of marriage, job, and health or a mental disorder. No-one wants to go through this, but it is a very real part of life. You may even go into a depression due to your loss. The bereavement process consists of various stages, which you may go through at any time. The stages are not set in stone and vary according to the person.

As a counselor I am here to help you get perspective on the disease. As well as help you move forward with coping skills and a better understanding of the effects of the disease on your emotional and mental state.
